An improvement that has led us to equip our professional honey extractors with the new RD2 system:- Three-phase 1.3 kW electric motor with integrated inverter- Smaller control panel with low voltage (24V) also complies with the American ULCSA regulations.- Positioning of the control panel on the side on the bar for better accessibility.- In addition to the functionality of the previous system, which remains unchanged, the possibility of having a user-programmable cycle of up to 6 working phases has been added, in which the rotation speed of the cage and its direction of rotation (clockwise/counterclockwise) can be set for each. The total cycle time set is automatically divided into equal parts for each phase that make up the working cycle.
- For each selected program, the set cycle time is the real time of the working cycle, the time needed to perform the acceleration and deceleration ramps are not considered, during these periods the time counter stops.- The stainless steel cage is designed to hold Langstroth/Zander/DNM combs.- The stainless steel vessel has a diameter Ø 850 mm, the top edge is curled to obtain a greater axial rigidity and the bottom has a special shape with double taper that collects honey towards the tap .
