INFORMATION The stainless steel ripener is the ideal product for decanting and ripening honey, an indispensable process after extracting honey because it allows impurities to be brought to the surface.Honey ripening occurs due to the different specific weight of the impurities inside the honey after extracting honey: impurities such as wax, parts of wood or organic materials will come to the surface naturally, as will air bubbles that were generated during the previous extracting process. The full discharge ripener is designed and manufactured within the Lega factory, so it is Made in Italy and most importantly Made in Lega. The product can be placed on top of the metal stand, which is sold separately (item 5841).We produce different sizes of steel ripeners, to meet the needs of all beekeepers. The 250-kg format is the medium size, but it has all the quality of Lega materials and workmanship. The ripener is compatible with Lega stainless steel mesh filters, to carry out the first filtration of honey after honey extraction. In this way it is possible to pour honey to which larger impurities have already been removed, such as pieces of wax, wood, or organic parts of bees.It is possible to purchase the stand for the ripener, so that the ripener can be raised off the ground and honey can be poured into jars or tin via the tap.
